Bows is from Attawapiskat but a plane ride could not leave her memories and feelings behind. She thinks of the times she was cold and hungry and knows other dogs still suffer the way she did. When we told her about Christmas and gift giving she asked for just one thing - to save all the others left behind. We hope to grant her wish.
Bows is sweet, affectionate and thoughtful. She would love to wake up to the smells of Christmas baking but will understand it it is not meant to be for her. She wishes every day could be Christmas so people would be merry and bright always. That way they may also be kinder and more giving.
Bows isn't always solemn, she is happy and playful as well. She delights in the Christmas lights and loves to dance with snowflakes as they fall. To cuddle with her is to know peace.
We don't place our pups after December 19th so if Bows is still with us I will dance with her outdoors Christmas morning.
